This kind of bending is much more technical and requires using an internal mandrel of some type. These can be a plug or bullet-nose mandrel, a single ball mandrel, or a multiple ball mandrel. Parts requiring this type of bending use thinner walled material and have smaller radius bends and sometimes require using an external wiper die. See our design aid section for more information.
